It’s been a long time since I have taken on the Saturday Night Fun challenge from Randy Seaver’s Genea-Musings blog.
This sounded like fun, so I did it.  You can click on the link to Randy’s post above and find out how he did his tree and what it looks like.
HERE’S MY SURNAME TREE – IF YOU ARE FAMILY CAN YOU FIND YOUR SURNAME?

  1. I'm in there a few times, Diane! I am a Burgess and Brown direct descendant, just on first glance! I have Gillen cousins, through my Burgess branch.

    1. Annie,
That's interesting. The Burgess line I have is from England on my Mom's side. The Brown line is on my husband's side. The Gillen's are also on my Mom's side and are Ohio and PA and who knows where before that. Both Burgess and Gillen are my direct lines. Where are your Gillen's from? I can only trace mine back to Mifflin County, PA in early 1800’s and then brick wall.

I look forward to reading your comments. If you have any connection to the people mentioned in this blog, please let me know. I write about mine and my husband's ancestors and would welcome new information or meeting a new cousin or two. Thanks for visiting and come back soon.
